Jennifer Tutko obtained her Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. After completing her formal studies, she did a rotating small intership in a private clinic in West Los Angeles. Jennifer has worked in a mixed animal practice, gaining appreciation for working dogs and their needs. Today, she practices small animal medicine in San Francisco’s Bay Area.
Kim Peterson has always had a passion for animals. She grew up on a farm in rural Minnesota, surrounded by nature and animals, so pursuing a career in Veterinary Medicine came naturally. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the College of Saint Benedict and her veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota. After working in emergency veterinary medicine, Dr. Peterson founded Critter Care, a veterinary clinic specializing in the care and rehabilitation of sick and orphaned wildlife. Soon after, she also founded Sweet Paws Retreat, a boarding, grooming and daycare facility with focus on exercise and care.
Nicole Elis is a certified dog trainer based in Los Angeles. A lover of all animals, she has trained everything from tigers and bears to cats and dogs. Nicole is also an American Kennel Club CGC evaluator who has trained hundreds of dogs, from puppy manners and basic behavior, to trick training and service dog training. She is also an author of Working Like a Dog, a book which gives you window into he world of working animals. Nicole puts a heavy focus on loving, positive reinforcement methods in all of her pet training.
Destin Benoit is a former Special Forces K-9 Handler with a vast operational experience and multiple military training. He has worked with dogs in some of the most stressful situations and environments on earth. Today, he is a SOC Canine Handler, helping protect embassies, camps and installations abroad.
